We met Carol when we started our search for a weekend home. We initially thought that we would like a house in Guerneville, and we set a price limit. Carol searched for properties with features we wanted and in our price range and toured them and showed us the best ones. After a few rounds, it became clear that my husband was not thrilled with Guerneville even though I loved being so close to the river. After Carol listened to what our family wanted husband wants fine dining, wine tasting, and other amenities found in cities; my kids wanted a place to bike, an ice cream shop nearby, a chance to play in the river, and I wanted a slower pace, small-town charm and access to the river. Carol suggested that we explore a few other towns to expand our search, and she said she thought we'd get what we all wanted in Healdsburg. So we started looking there, and then one day in January, Carol called because she saw 2 homes, one in particular that she felt would meet our needs. She was absolutely right. And she helped to craft a compelling bid (not the highest price but the winning bid) and we closed in February 2015. Carol made our dreams come true. My husband loves all the amenities available in Healdsburg; my kids love riding their bikes to the library and to the Plaza for gelato, or spending a day splashing in the river, searching for rocks on the beach, and I love our friendly neighbors. We feel that we owe it all to Carol because Healdsburg wasn't even on our radar. She really listened and understood our needs and she knew the area so well that she could guide us to the right place, the right home. We have never had such a wonderful agent.

We were selling our commercial property, a B and B in Murphys in the Gold Country, and on our way up to meet you in Occidental we received news that the buyer of the inn was backing out and we were devastated. We met you at the Union Hotel and with your help and guidance we were able to bring our buyer back on board. Your calm demeanor helped to soothe over a very distressing time. We then proceeded on to look at this house and realized that we would have to make an offer quickly or we would lose out on the house, as there was a potential backup offer in the wings. With your guidance, we wrote up an offer and we had to ask for a 90-day escrow due to the sale of the inn. You presented our offer in such a manner that it was readily accepted to our amazement. In our experience, very few real estate sales go smoothly, and we had a few ups and downs and yet you were always there to calmly assist in every situation. You completely smoothed over the potential deal-breaker of a situation with the septic tank problem to the satisfaction of both buyer and seller. We will be forever grateful for your expertise, friendship, and willingness to answer any and all questions in a timely manner. We were over 3 1/2 hours away and you always scheduled inspections, signings, etc. to meet our schedules and it made everything seem to proceed seamlessly.
